Hi there. I am 20 weeks pregnant and have period type pain today. Do you think this is normal? Anyone else had this? :)

I've had this a bit, I'm 17 weeks. I've had back pain too. It is apparently normal to have these niggles and aches. The growing weight of the baby, all the fluid and placenta, put quite a lot of pressure and strain on the pelvic area. I think extreme pain with bleeding would be quite another thing however, and certainly something to worry about.

I had it when I was around 20 weeks, now I'm 33 and I have them again. It's just everything stretching :)

Glad you're feeling better erb1.

I'm on my second pregnancy and it's actually been aching quite a lot more this time than it did for Round 1! Baby regularly kicks me though in the cervix, which isn't so good at 26 weeks so I'm not worried.

As others have said, niggles and aches are par for the course :)

Thanks HerrenatheHHHarridan. I can feel baby very strong, I guess thats very reassuring. I think I am just paniking myself and just need to enjoy the experience more. x
