I'm starting to find it really amusing now. I can almost hear baby saying " here hang on mother I wasn't ready, where was the warning for the sudden shift in gravity"

Yes! She turns into a crazy little disco dancer even when I only lean left.

I don't think our little one does it everytime but I do remember one night laying on my left side and baby being really active. So I moved onto my back and right so that DH (on my right side) could reach to feel the movements. The baby immediately went quiet. So I turned back around to sleep again, and the movements resumed. This contined until we gave it up that DH would be able to feel the baby that night (he was too sleepy to get up and move around the bed to the left side).

I reckon baby has already learnt how to lay hide and seek from daddy.

Yes!! Every single time, I get kicked like crazy. Although I believe you are supposed to sleep on your left, it's so unbelievably uncomfortable I end up sleeping on my right! I think baby is breech/lying across so I am probably squishing its poor little legs.

Mine's the opposite, nice and calm on the left and really kicky on the right! Was trying to sleep on my right last night and just couldn't as the bubba wouldnt lay still.
