Last night, Bumpy (33 weeks) had a huge session of painful cervix-jumping and rib smashing, moved some furniture around and let off a few rockets (I assume) and is now a big fat weird high up shape across my abdomen. On the bright side, it's pulled my love handles taut and I seem to have a waist again from the back, but I am assuming, from the weird bump and the way my trousers are now comically falling down, that this might mean a lovely transverse lie. I also have an anterior placenta which I hear can make this more likely.

Hmm.

Any advice? Apart from see the MW. That would be far too sensible when what I really want is reassurance from internet sprites, hairy handed truckers included, while I wibble ineffectually. Plus, I'm seeing the MW on Monday. I think.

My little one did that a few times but usually flipped back in to place a day or so later - ive found that if I lie on my left side for a while baby usually moves itself around to get comfortable so maybe yours will mooch back in to shape while your sleeping?

I have heard kneeling on all fours and either rocking or crawling is good to encourage good position. Or anything where leaning forward slightly while back is straight will help too

Holy shit, it's got a foot or something in my lung . I hope it's okay in there and having more fun than I am.

Only another 7 weeks or so to go.
