Movements 28 weeks

Currently 28 weeks pregnant with DC3 and wondering about movements? Baby only seems to kick when proded and never spontaneously for a period of time like I experienced with other DC.

I tend to get a short period of movements a couple of times a day, when I mentioned this to midwife at my 24 week appointment she advised this was due to anterior placenta.

Has anyone else noticed this with anterior placenta?

I have an anterior placenta too and would say the movements were as you described at your stage, short bursts when the baby was obviously in a certain position and would normally be in the afternoon for an hour or so. I would say over the last few weeks (am now 32 weeks) I have noticed a lot more movement and it's all throughout the day, I would just put this down to the fact that this has happened at the same time my bump has got bigger so I just think I can feel baby more as it's bigger??

Same here, not much movement to be felt earlier on but now, jeez. It's like someone's rearranging chairs in there.

That's good to hear, DS's were on the go all the time at this stage, must admit am not complaining as I get a full night sleep when my bladder allows it

Careful what you (oof) wish for (scream) as you might (ouch) just get it (argh).

Yes, it all seems to be active over here bloody well go to sleep, baby but I do remember phoning the MW at about 20 weeks because I couldn't feel a thing.
