Strong Braxton hicks, could they be toilet related?

I've had a couple of episodes of really strong bh at the time I've half wondered if it's labour kicking off, but it has coincided with not going to the loo for a bit once I've gone they have eased off a bit.

Has this happened to anyone else?

Yeah, I get them when I am dehydrated and/or constipated. As if constipation wasn't enough fun all by itself.
