i'm 34+3 & have had BH's from about 20 weeks, if not before. I had the same with DD's pregnancy 17months a go but this time they are a lot stronger, and more frequent early on. I am also 2/5engaged.

I have them about every ten mins, sometimes 5 mins or even whenever i move from a previous position (sitting to standing, and vice versa) and the past week I've also been getting wierd shooting pains (a vertical feeling that makes me tense up. does that make sense?)

the BH's are not painful as such. very very strong though. i find it hard when someone asks "are they painful" as I gave birth without pain relief so it must take a lot of pain for me to say its painful iysim?

I know its not labour. but just wondered how far off it could be?
as i said i wasnt experiencing them this strong or frequent until the week or so before i had DD

I had these in my second pregnancy. Actually thought it was labour a few times. In the end I was induced at 40+3 due to waters breaking.
