am i in early labour?!?!!

I know they say you're probably not if you're unsure... but just want to check!

i'm 39 weeks, and have been having period pains all day. Only they are hanging around for about a minute at a time and not at all regular, and haven't had any for about 2 hours now. Also have very bad lower back ache that isn't shifting (usually changing position will get rid of my backache).

I have been leaking very small amounts of amniotic fluid the last few days... (i think... it smells very sweet and like the waters of my first)... midwife didnt seem too concerned about this as it's a very small amount...

also, been in and out of hospital the last few days with fast pulse and migraines... still undiagnosed... not sure if this is related?

Also cannot stop cleaning!!

Sounds like it could be..I was having contractions every 10 minutes all day yesterday... Then suddenly stopped! :( now had a few here and there but was told that its early labour and it can happen for a few days-a week or more. Just take things easy and relax...its not far now x

eurgh - a week or more?!! baby's not engaged yet either... but I heard thats common in dc2+?

Yea if its DC2+ then they can engage right up until labour has already began, so don't worry! It won't be long for you :) I'm 38 weeks with DS2 and he's fully engaged but he's too snug too make his appearance. I've heard the best thing to do is try and relax as that will help your body what it needs to. I know its hard, I struggle to relax so need to take my own advice! Lol xx

too much to do now to relax!! haha...

better head off to bed with a film and an easter egg then.... :o

How can my baby still be hanging in even the MW is amazed. I wonder if he has crampons in there. xx

I'm gonna get on the birthing ball now... not sure if that will actually do anything.. might work psychologically though.... :o

EVERYWHERE seems to be out of raspberry leaf tea... Obviously there are going to be lots of babies in my area this week....
