Bad stomach ache, what is it?

Hi everyone. I am 21 weeks pregnant, 4th pregnancy. Since ystdy afternoon have had a terrible stomach ache which is only alleviated if I lie on my front. Baby's moving fine. But stomach hurts & feels so uncomfortable.Anyone else had this? Thanks

You need to pop and see your GP. It could be a kidney infection, these are very common during pregancy. Best to get it checked.

Thanks for the replies. It was trapped wind. Sounds ridiculous now but honestly I can't explain how painful it was at the timeBlush

I was about to write before I saw your post to say bowel related or constipation. I had it in both previous pregnancies and have seen it a lot at work ( am medical). It's sooo painful and common as progesterone causes the bowel to slow down

Alltheseboys - don't be embarrassed... I have the same pain and was ready to go to the drop in clinic thinking the baby's head was trapped weirdly or something... woke up this morning, did a massive fart and suddenly the pain was gone lol

i don't think it's ridiculous! I was going to say trapped wind cos I've had that too. It's bloody excruciating! But I'm glad it's nothing serious!
