I can't seem to eat a full meal any more. I get into an awful panic if I eat too much, which is a normal sized meal. My bump feels all stretched and I can't get relief in any position and the heartburn is terrible!

Today I gave up halfway through my dinner as I can't face the heartburn Sad I seem to be eating less the bigger I get......will the baby be ok?

I'm only 28 weeks....

I'm 35 weeks and feel exactly the same! I've just been having small meals when ever I feel like it - as long as you're getting healthy stuff you'll be fine. Just keep gaviscon nearby!

Baby will be fine :) It will be taking everything it needs from your body so if anyone goes without it's going to be you!

Try eating smaller meals (but more frequently) and take a good pregnancy vitamin.

Also, get yourself some heartburn relief, don't just suffer. You can get Gaviscon on prescription (so free) from the GP, but if you can't bear the taste or the general vileness of it, use something else. ASDA fruit flavour heartburn relief sweets have got me through both pregnancies as I simply cannot stomach any other kind of proper remedy. Chalky sweets like Love Hearts or Refreshers should also do the trick.

Thanks both of you! I have a large bottle of Gaviscon. I had a better night last night and am having smaller meals. Can't be doing with having panics after every meal !
