Is this a mucus show/ plug or not? Warning TMI!

I think I have lost my mucus plug/had a show sunday evening.
It was totally clear really thick jelly/snot texture and was probably the size of a 50p coin.
I always though it had to be a "bloody show" as in a little bit/ thread of blood in it, but it was totally clear.

and secondly if it is a show, does this mean things are probably going to kick off soonish? I am 34w+5d. I have also noticed a lot more braxton hicks, not painful but I am getting a tiny bit of light crampy periody feeling every so often since yesterday. Nothing major as I have gone to work today, but am starting to wonder panic that things may happen pretty soon.

Soo any ideas/words of wisdom?

Sorry to disappoint you, but it sounds much more like late pregnancy heavy discharge. This is likely to continue to the end of your pregnancy.

In my experience your show WILL be bloody and will be a much greater quantity that a 50p - more like 2-3 egg cups worth and may come away over a 24h period.

I've had this since about 34 weeks, lots of discharge when I wipe. Am currently 41+5 and am booked for an induction tomorrow. With my DD I had a sweep at 41+1 and lost my show within an hour of that and it was thick, heavy and bloody when it went. To me it sounds like what you have is more like the discharge I've been having with this pregnancy and less like the show I lost in my first pregnancy, sorry.

Ok , thats good news that its probably not a show!
I've had heavy discharge the last few weeks, but this was a big gloopy "ball" to the point of i had to pull it out as it wasn'y wiping away with the paper and i could feel that there was something there IYSWIM.

Yeah defo sounds like discharge. Isn't pregnancy glamorous??
