I'm due on the 16th december, only just got a BFP today. I had a stillbirth and a chemical pregnancy last year, so very scared right now.
Not telling anyone (except boss) in real life untill 12 weeks if we can.

CODwidow · 10/04/2012 15:30

Hi I'm due 12th dec (I think) had mc in oct so nervous but feeling different this time, I definately have symptoms this time. It'll be no.5 for me, I have 4 ds's 9,8,5 and 3. Fx for all of us having lovely pregnancies and happy, healthy babies at the end!

hippieshake · 10/04/2012 15:37

COD I'm on the May thread and I remembered you being on there, and I just say your name next to this post and had to come and say congratulations. :)

I hope you have a wonderful pregnancy x

MurtleTheTurtle · 10/04/2012 15:39

Hello, I think I'm due on 14th December - got a very early BFP last week. This will be number 3 for me, I have DD (5) and DS (3). Got lots of symptoms - particularly nausea and very sore breasts (they are also rather HUGE at the mo!). Got too excited and foolishly told close family - I usually like a drink and couldn't think of a good enough excuse to not drink at a family party this weekend!

Xenomorph · 10/04/2012 16:26

Hi, congrats to everyone. I'm due no.4 on Dec 17th, had a miscarriage in Jan so really nervous this time, trying hard to keep it a secret - only DH and MIL know so far.

Cookiesandcream06 · 10/04/2012 16:26

Hello ladies!! Can I join?! Estimated Due Date = Dec 12th. I seem to have put on weight even though I only conceived a matter of weeks ago?! Think I'm eating too much already.. Does almost make me envy those who throw up and manage to lose weight in the beginning!!

Booked my 'booking in' appointment today.. First step of everything seeming really 'real'...

AceOfBase · 10/04/2012 16:34

Hi there ladies. There's a December thread already with over 30 bfps! Congrats to you all xxx

CODwidow · 10/04/2012 16:36

Hiya hippie I looked for you the other day and actually had a read through to see how you were all getting on! How are you? Still early days but hoping things happen differently this time! X

CODwidow · 10/04/2012 16:38

I've managed to tell dh(of course) my mum, my sister and a close friend! Must keep quiet from now on!

raggybaggy · 10/04/2012 17:07

Hello, another joiner! I'm due Dec 14th (like Murtletheturtle!) and this will be no. 2. Just told DH - he in state of shock! Me even worse! congrats everyone and fingers crossed X

CODwidow · 10/04/2012 17:11

I'm going to ring mw next week I think when kids have gone back to school. I am just soooo tired. I had totally forgotten the feeling of tiredness!! Trying not too eat so much today so I think porridge is my new best friend keeps me full and keeps sickness away yeh! Just doesn't seem real at all :)

DessieLou · 10/04/2012 17:32

I have just joined the other Dec thread (in antenatal) it's busy over there! Congratulations to everyone! I am due on Dec 1st. Grin

Cookiesandcream06 · 10/04/2012 18:10

Why can I not see this?! Am I blind? Or is my phone just crap... Hmm

Spananah · 10/04/2012 19:50

Oooh, please can I join? First time pregnant, EDD the 12th as well. We've told close family as we were incredibly excited when we received our BFP, but I am now quietly panicking every moment of the day... Only symptoms so far are tiredness and sore breasts. The next seven weeks are going to seem an eternity!

DangerMousey · 10/04/2012 20:27

Hello! Please can I join too! Pregnant with first child, due on 1st December, so am 6 + 3. Currently feeling a little bit nauseous in the afternoons/evenings, and very tired all the time, but otherwise fine :)

DessieLou, we are DD buddies!!

I had a MC at 5+5 in January so am feeling pretty nervous, and hoping that everything goes ok this time.

Where's the 'antenatal' board that you're talking about, Dessie??

VegemiteSandwich · 10/04/2012 21:24

Me, me! I'm another December girl! Due on the 12th which (as well as being the same as cookiesandcream) is our wedding anniversary!

Only got our BPF on Saturday but have been starving hungry for about 2 weeks now - I'm like a bottomless pit! I'm assuming that this is my body's way of stocking up before the morning sickness hits.

CODwidow · 10/04/2012 21:25

Ive also just joined the other thread in antenatal, its very busy :)

VegemiteSandwich · 10/04/2012 21:26

...and the same as Spananah as well! WE could set up our very own 12th December thread :D

Weird that we're all going to be crossing paths a fair bit over here these next 9 months.

CODwidow · 10/04/2012 21:27

im also due 12/13 dec vegemite! :)

VegemiteSandwich · 10/04/2012 21:36

Sorry DODwidow, didn't see you up there! There's LOADS of us!

terrywoganstrousers · 10/04/2012 21:46

Due 5th December I think- not had booking in appointment yet ( this will be DC2- I have 9yr old DD but have totally forgotten how it all works-do I just ring midwives direct and ask for booking appt or does GP need to refer? ).

CODwidow · 10/04/2012 21:47

where i am you ring the midwife and book with them x

terrywoganstrousers · 10/04/2012 22:06

Ah, sod it- will just do that. They can only say no! I think last time I went to GP but not sure that was particularly necessary as all he did was refer me to midwives.
Very excited, trying not to tell too many people as it's still so early but I am rubbish at keeping secrets! Blush

sketti · 11/04/2012 11:18

Hi all, cant believe how many posts are on here already its great. Feeling abit icky this morning, but no idea if its just in my head. Feeling very anxious this time round and any time I have a tummy ache I keep thinking I'm going to miscarry. With my first four years ago I was very sick and was in hospital many times with hydration. When I got pregnant again I had no symptoms and thought I was blessed this time round and then miscarried at 10 wks. DS 1 keeps me going. Now pregnant again and to be honest my biggest symptom is being a little neurotic lol partner doesn't seem to understand.

ChangeMyHappy · 11/04/2012 18:43

Hi there, me too! Have a 3 year old DD, and miscarried at 8 weeks back in September :( Just found out, due date 16th I think.
I felt really anxious last time, didn't know why, turned out to be a blighted ovum (delightful term!) so maybe on some subconscious level I knew it wasn't quite right. This time does feel different, I'm much more happy and excited, but then have the mad pendulum swing into paranoia that I daren't get my hopes up.
Had really sore breasts, but now less so (cue panic Grin ) but still no nausea or tiredness. In true obsessiveness I did another test this am and it had gone from 1-2 weeks to 2-3 weeks, so who knows Confused
I told most of my friends last time, and I'm trying really hard this time not to blab! I've told my mum and a couple of close friends, but don't want to dump all my madness on them with constant symptom spotting!
So hello everyone, here's looking forward to happy, healthy pregnancies!
