Hi girls. Just wondering if anybody else has this. All through my pregnancy I've been prone to fainting, fainted outright at 12, 20 and 28 weeks. Had my bloods done at 28 weeks and I have iron def anaemia, I was prescribed 1 month of iron tablets which I've just finished. But this morning I was in work at 7.45am and felt absolutely fine, about half hour later I was very faint, racing heart and seeing spots. Had to lie down and it passed eventually. I feel horrendous while this is happening, like my heart is out of control and completely exhausted afterwards. I've mentioned this to MW but not overly concerned as has never happened while I'm there. I have another check-up Thursday and will mention it again.
Has anyone else had this? Any advice?

How is your blood pressure? Visual disturbance can be a sign of high bp and you should probably get checked out. Have you a headache? Any swelling of feet or hands?

I had high bp at the end of pregnancy and felt rubbish too.

Call the midwives and get checked out - visual disturbance can be a sign of pre-eclampsia.
