Could I have felt the baby move at 15 weeks?

I was out running and I felt this weird fluttering in my abdomen - hard to describe it really. I am 15+4. Could that have been the baby moving? Also, while I am on the questions, I have started to be able to feel my uterus, but not all the time. When I do yoga, I can always feel it in savasana and when I wake up in the morning (so when I am lying down) but not really at other times.
Is that normal do you think?
And last thing, does anyone else have excruciating nipples? When I run, get out of the shower or even just get a bit cold, I get shooting pains through my nipples into my breasts. I have done for about 7 weeks now but it's getting worse not better. Does anyone have any advice please? I know it sounds pretty trivial, and it is really in the grand scheme of things but it's so painful.
Thanks for your help!

Sounds like it could have been the baby!! Is this your first? You can feel the first movements from 15 to 22 weeks! You say you were out running so sounds like you are quite fit and if baby is in the right position it seems very possible!! I asked the same question a couple of weeks ago, I know many people answered by saying yes!! One lady said her babys movements were visible too!!

As for the painful nipples... Hell yes!! They are killing me! I never had this with my first but I'm 18 weeks with my second and I've been in agony! I have no advice other than to try and get padded bras! That's the only thing that's helped me, hopefully some one will be along with better advice!!

Congrats on the pregnancy!

Sounds like first movements, I can't offer personal experience though as I didn't feel my son move until 23 weeks!

Uterus - no idea, I can't recall trying to feel for mine.

Nipples though, good Lord yes! Mine used to really ache in the cold too. I found myself rubbing them in public on occasion as I couldn't stand the pain any more. Pregnancy really does adjust ones' boundaries Grin

Thanks! Congrats to you too. Sorry to hear you have the nipple thing too. I am almost in tears sometimes it's so painful. Have you got padded sports bras? I defo need new bras whatever.
It is my first baby. Exciting if it was that! I was listening to prince, though guess baby can't hear that through my headphones!!

Thanks Truffkin - yes, know what you mean. I have taken to peeing behind a tree when I go running in the forest now. Luckily there is never anyone around, but still. Combined with having my hands over my boobs, I am a right shambles when I am out running. Not sure what happened to the glamour!

Yes I remember the most beautiful butterfly flutterings at 14 week . I assumed I was bonkers until others reported the same . So lovely enjoy !

Hi Polly

I felt "popping" at 15 weeks which I think was my bubba. I used to get it when I was in the bath.

I could feel my uterus too, now I have found that its pretty much my torso!

Nipples sound ouch though, luckily I never got that!

Yup. I have had flutters and flip flopping going on for the last few days. I am 14+4. It makes me smile every time and I can't wait until the kids can have a feel too. I did get them to poke my belly the other night as I tried to show them where my uterus was. It is normal to be able to feel it post 12 weeks as that is when it rises from being tucked inside the pelvis.

Nipples!! oh god yes. When I get a bit cold they actually go white and throb. I have been driven to running a hot bath and going on all 4's while I dip them in the water! The pain has actually made me sob and I have found the only relief on occasion is to strap a hot water bottle to my chest Blush

I reckon it probably was, this is my first and I've been feeling baby since 14/15 weeks, getting stronger now and had a few proper little kicks. :)
