When the baby sleeps in the daytime will he/she have to be with me at all times? When we're at home I was thinking of letting the baby sleep in the bedside crib, but I'm not sure if this against advice?

9/10 times I expect to be in the bed too, but there will be times I will be downstairs, so I want to ensure we have everything we need. Should I get a moses basket for daytime naps?

Thanks!

AFAIK, the risk is higher between 0 and 4 months. It is reassuring to have the baby right next to us but I don't think you need to keep an eye on the baby all the time. If you feel more comfortable, you should go for the moses basket, or a baby monitor, more expensive but easier to bring anywhere with you. Just an idea.
