Wish this baby would hurry up and turn!

Currently 36+1 and baby has been transverse for at least the last 10 weeks. So I am getting kicked and pushed in the waist and it likes to push against my hip bones. Also getting seriously bad braxton hicks, probably my body trying to turn the baby round but not doing a good job!

Just wish this baby would turn, I'm due an ELCS anyway so I don't care if it goes breech or the right way up. But transverse is just proving really bloody uncomfortable!

Sorry for the rant Grin, just feels good to let the frustration out a bit!

Have you got a birthing ball apparently they are supposed to help. My little one (27 weeks pg) is transverse and I have started using it in the hopes she shifts her position. Maybe worth a try?

I do have one but I don't get to use it much as DS wants to play on it when I get it out! I do walk a lot and spend a lot of time on the floor on hands and knees playing with DS but no signs of turning yet. Even trying the inversions from the spinning babies website.

I use the ball mostly when I'm on the computer but come the evening I'm so exhausted I lay on my side on the sofa rather than bounce on a ball!

Haha my dd loves to play with the ball too! Smile all out of ideas then I'm afraid.... Unless you want to vacuum on hands and knees as apparently that helps!! Grin

I think some babies are just stubborn! I swear this one is pushing against my hip bones to stop itself turning Grin. I think I've reached the conclusion that it'll turn if it wants to!

DS was in the perfect position from really early on so this is all new to me.

I can't really offer any advice but I can offer sympathy if that helps?! I'm 33 weeks, my baby was transverse, then breech but now I think it's transverse again. Soo uncomfortable, can't bend forwards and think my lungs are getting squashed cos I get out of breath really easily. Bump feels hard most of the time and keep getting BH at the most inconvenient times like when trying to park the car! I got a ball too but not really sure what to do with it? Hope you get some relief soon.

Sympathy sounds good thanks Grin. Hope things resolve for you too! The BH leave me totally breathless.

I've got an appointment at the hospital on Thursday to discuss the date for my CS and the midwife said they'd probably scan me if it's still transverse. Definitely is tonight.
