Can I take Vicks first defence nasal spray when pregnant?

I really don't want a cold as I was off work for five weeks with hyperemesis! Can feel one coming on. It just says to consult doctor on leaflet! Anyone taken it?

Don't think you can, but you can take the Boots own brand one.

I have used it at least 4 times during my pregnancy and no cold!

The Vicks first defence has not been tested in pregnancy so advice is to avoid. As friedfrog says though the Boots Cold Defense Nasal Spray has and is safe in pregnancy.
