My sister is 7 weeks pregnant and it is her 2nd pregnancy. She has no feelings of sickness at all 1st time round, but constantly feeling sick now and can't eat much. Very tired and feeling like poo. Has anyone else experienced this? ( I am sure there is!)

She is wondering whether it is twins. I have 8 children, 4 singles and 2 lots of twins and was very very lucky that i never felt ill with any of them.

Just wondering how common it is to have a completely different pregnancies as mine were exactly the same, boy/girl, single/multiple pregnancies.

Of course only a scan will reveal all Wink.

Hi!

There have been a few similar threads asking this question in recent months - do a search for them and you might find answers.

From my own experience: with DS's pregnancy I vomited 5 times total and didn't really feel nausea much.

Am now pregnant with DC2 (21 weeks) and still being sick and still feeling nausea almost every hour I'm awake :( Have had 12 week scan which showed only one baby, but I'm getting my bigger scan next week, which will maybe reveal that it's a girl.... or could be another boy, I don't mind either way.

With this pregnancy the vomiting has been so bad that I was admitted to hospital for a few days back around the 10 week pregnant mark and treated for hyperemesis gravidarum. There are also some threads on MN about hyperemesis too.

Hope your sis feels better soon, congrats to her on the pregnancy :)

with my first I hardly felt sick at all and with this pregnancy I've felt sick from the week before I found out I was pregnancy until about 14 weeks. I was also utterly wiped out and I got convinced I was having twins but no, just the one baby.

I don't believe the sex of the baby can influence the way you feel, it might be a girl but I may well be a boy too - looks like all pregnancy are different.

in my first preg felt no morning sickness, in the second I felt sick all the time unless I was eating. I think with your 2nd you feel it more as you don't get to rest as much
