hello due date!

just a little moan its my due date today and no sign of my baby im pretty dissapointed as my dd was 7 days early but hey ho!!

iv been offered a sweep on friday if there is still no buba?! are these any good?? painfull rtc?!

They work if you're ready to go into labour anyway. If it works you'd probably have gone into labour soon anyway, and if not then you've had a MW give you an uncomfortable furtle round the fanoir for nothing.

I was offered one on Wednesday (40w) and declined, did bugger all with DD so shan't bother this time.

Also, bear in mind your 'due date' is only an estimate, and babies usually come when they're ready, not when the guessed-by-a-calculator date comes!

Good luck when ever your bubba comes - sweep or no sweep it won't be too much longer!

thanks for yor replies im trying not to labour symptom spot as I got a bit obsessive this week!

ye this baby.is just clearly not ready to come out yet!

I will see if I get to friday and then I may concider a sweep only because im really suffering with my spd and also woukd,really rather not have induction.
