prolapse cervix at nearly 36 wks can anyone help??

i bucked up the courage to tell my midwife that something down there(sorry to be so blunt) doesnt feel right n feels like something is bulging out but its not all the time.anyway she wasnt there - on holiday again - useless lol n her cover was there who told me she thinks its prolapse cervix - but didnt examine to check n told me just to mention it to obgyn when i c them in 2 wks time n just to drink more water n do pelvic floor excercises mor.left feeln completly embarassed n mortified that dont know any mor bout it than wot ive scared myself reading online. am now terrified wont b allowed a vaginal birth n will the prolapse get worse in this last month as baby gets lower. can anybody HELP!!!

Go and see your gp next week so someone will actually examine you and confirm that's what it is. Could be a prolapsed cervix or an anterior prolapse or even a varicose vein. I'm sure it's nothing to worry about, things have a way of working out but see your gp.
