Been having them for weeks now. This is DC2. But this week they are very frequent.
Not painful just very strong, and slight cramping low down. Also 2/5 engaged since 31 weeks.

Bump is also sore to touch. Boobs are sore for the first time.

To add to it, I'm anaemic, I have tonsilitus and temp so maybe this is why I'm feeling a bit fragile?
Got MW next Thurs.

If you are at all concerned, even just a little bit, you need to call your midwife. She might reassure you all is fine, and then you can relax, she might pick up a small problem before it becomes serious. There is no downside to asking for a trained opinion.

I would get things checked out just in case - I had a similar thing when I was 36 weeks and had a temperature. It could be braxton hicks, but then again it could be your body responding moreso to an elevated temp.

Get yourself checked out asap and don't worry about potentially wasting doctors' time.

call your midwife.
in the meantime take a large drink of water and lie down with your feet elevated.
when this happened to me about the same weeks, mw told me to take magnesium as well and to count the tightenings, if they are more than 10x per hour I was to go to the fetal assessment unit.

Rang the MAU yesterday and they said to go in. I can't get the childcare
Arranged. Babys movements are so strong which set of BH. I stand up =BH, they just
Set off so easily. I just asked her what's 'normal' in 2nd pregnancies as I don't want
To waste their time. I don't feel in pain. Its very tight, and uncomfortable at times. But then again
I was 3-4cms without knowing and laboured with no pain relief with dd. So I don't know?

All I know is that I didn't feel them this strong and frequent until the last stages.
And week upto DD's birth.

Also have tonsilitus so maybe this is why I feel so weak, run down and just breathless.

Arghhhhhhhh
