Which branded laxatives can I take!

Hi all

Getting so confused over this but cannot take this bloated feeling much longer. Can anyone tell me what brand names of laxatives are safe to take when pregnant? Went to docs today who prescribed me Peppermint capsules for my IBS symptoms but I could do with som extra help! Sorry if tmi!

None that i know of, can anything be perscribed, i only ever get given fibrogel when i go to the doctors, have really struggled in this pregnancy.

fybogel is what they recommend round here. i take one teaspoon a day, would be miserable without it. it's not a laxative as such, but a really effective fibre supplement. works in 12-24 hours

Prune juice will work wonders. A pharmacist might give you lactulose, depends on what stage of pg you're at.

I had Lactulose and Movicol in both pg. Both were prescribed, although I have had Lactulose over the counter in early pg.
