Hope someone can help. Last 3 days I have noticed more of a wet patch on my underwear, (TMI) it doesn't smell like wee, but is colourless and thin like water (Not white or gloopy). I feel it come out, but it only happens once or twice a day, not all day IYSWIM?

I just assumed it must have been discharge which my book says does increase with pregnancy, but then a friend was talking about when she leaked fluid which I didn't even know was possible!?

I'm lying down in bed now and if it does it again when I stand up, should I ring the DR/Midwife? Or should I just ring now? Don't want to waste the drs time if it's just normal discharge Blush.

Thanks.

Hello - I am 16 weeks and have noticed an increased discharge. I also seem to get quite a watery fluid if I have had a bath the night before or that morning - could that be it? Sometimes it feels like quite a lot!

If you are at all concerned though, why not ring your midwife - I'm sure she can reassure you x

Hey, I'm 15 weeks too and I have noticed my discharge has increased (did a while ago) but it is thinner, not thick at all. My underwear is wet a lot (sometime go to the bathroom to check I'm not bleeding) but it's not soaking iyswim? I wouldn't worry too much but if you're really concerned call the mw.

Like you both it's not really soaking, more slightly damp. I guess if it's fluid it would be really wet?

I would have thought so. Like sparkle it's been so damp at times I have gone to the loo to check it's not been blood. Try not to worry. I actually find this mildly reassuring as most of my other symptoms - bar tiredness - seem to have disappeared so this helps me believe I am still PG!

I'm 14+2 and I'm also have some increased discharge - i did read somewhere that this is expected and that its connected to helping prevent infection - there is a fancy name for it but I can't remember! I don't think there are any concerns unless you are really leaking.
