Should I ask for some meds?

I'm really struggling with Morning Sickness atm.
I'm considering asking the doctor/midwife for some meds or anything to help ease it slightly.
I'm a bit worried incase they can be funny about giving them out, I had much worse MS with my DS1 and it wasn't offered so I'm quite Angry
and worried at the same time?

Would I BU to ask for some meds?

Not at all. I was so sick I couldn't function. My obstetrician said put up with it but my doc was horrified at that and prescribed me some that put in your gum to dissolve as I couldn't keep normal pills down. They were heaven sent. You will prob have to see your doc rather than midwife

Hmm yes I can see me getting 'put up with it' MW, but i will definetly ask.

I dont want to suffer this time.

Oh dear your MS does sound bad UKSky.

Ask doctor I never had it as bad this time round but they gave me some. I did have it terrible with dd1 &dd2 and was put on them. I begged doctor this time as I didn't want to end up dehydrated.

I asked and thne midwife directed me to my GP as apparently they cant prescribe it

I got cyclizine from the GP - I found they made me feel worse so I just soldiered on but I believe there are several anti-emetics out there safe for pregnancy.

The GP prescribed buccastem for me, I went in to the appointment expecting to have to fight but she agreed with me that as I couldn't function normally it was worthwhile taking something to help
