Feeling very depressed about feeling ill all the time

At the moment I feel like I am drowning at sea and I don't know what to do.

I really love this baby, I just don't want to be pregnant any more.

This week (week 14) I've been feeling constantly ill (when at this point in the pregnancy I thought I'd be getting better) and I just don't want to continue to be honest.

Any words to perk me up would help ladies :)

Hi,

Sorry you're feeling this way. Is it your first baby? You're likely feeling a mix of emotions and hormones which also can make you feel bad, esp if you're being sick.

Are you vomiting, or feeling constant nausea?

I'm 20 weeks, still feeling the nausea :( and was hospitalised for a few days back in Jan (when I was 10 weeks) as I wasn't able to keep down food or liquid. This is my DC2, with my first pregnancy I was very rarely sick and didn't suffer much nausea. Each woman and each pregnancy are different.

Here is the link to the MN Hyperemesis Gravidarum support thread HG Support

It has information about what HG is and many women suffering from it are there for support and sharing.

Sending you a Brew and congrats on your pregnancy!

Keep going, I've been exactly where you are. I felt so down in both my pregnancies, just sick of my own voice moaning about feeling so terrible & constantly feeling so bloody awful.

It does get better in places & I promise you it is more than worth it in the end. Just take each day as it comes, but do try & get out & get as much fresh air as possible. At my worst point I realised I hadn't left the house for ten days I felt so crap - I think that probably made me feel worse.

Take Care & Congratulations!

Thank you :)

I took your advice saggybaps and went for a walk :) It did me a lot of good :)

Why is nature so cruel for making pregnancy so hard?!? :(

oh you poor thing :( i know just how you feel.

take comfort that it's not permanent. i know that's not much to cling to, but it's something! it WILL be over and you will be happy you managed. but it's terribly shit in the moment, isn't it?

Oh, i'm feeling like this too, milk - still only ten weeks, feels like i've felt sick forever, it's so tiring. This is a much wanted pregnancy, our first child, so I feel so bad for this getting me down. Fingers crossed it gets better soon as everyone keeps telling me!
