Acupuncture for morning sickness?

Has anyone tried it?

My morning sickness has kicked off big time (same as with first pregnancy) and I'm really not coping. When I manage to eat anything at all (which isn't very often) it comes straight back up.

I'm going to see my GP tomorrow to try and get some meds. But I've also ready that acupuncture can help with morning sickness so I booked a session as well. I have good experiences of acupuncture for something else so I'm hopeful it'll work for this. And tbh I'd stick my head in an oven right now if someone told me it'd help!!!

So I was just wondering if anyone else has tried it and what your experiences were? xx

I found it amazing with first pregnancy, slightly less good this time round. It worked amazingly for the nausea. This time I has some nausea but mainly just random sudden vomiting which it didn;t seem to help with much. Friend went from bright green and not eaten for 4 weeks to vomit free and looking human within 12hr of her first go a few weeks ago

I did need it every48hr though so not much longlasting effect. the GP who did it for me taught DH so he could give me top up needles in betweem my weekly sessions

Oh god! Hope I don't need it every 48hrs. Can't get it on NHS here and defo can't afford that! xx

I found it really helped although the effects were very short lived and I couldn't afford to keep going.
