When to book NCT classes?

Silly question, I know Blush

I'm almost 14 weeks. At what point do you normally book NCT classes? The ones for my DD aren't til August, but I hear they can book up quickly? At the same time, I'm still finding this pregnancy too good to be true and I'm worried I'm tempting fate somewhat (but it's quite likely I'll feel that way til I'm holding the baby in my arms iykwim Blush )

WWYD?

Watching with interest... I am 16 weeks and the classes I would do start mid-July. This is my first DC and I had a MMC at 13 weeks last time, so I think I am having a bout of that 'tempting fate' thing too! I think I read that you can reserve your place with a £30 deposit and then pay the balance nearer the time... does that sound right?

I booked at around the start of 2nd trimester - maybe a bit earlier. I remember thinking it was pretty early (but after first scan of course).

Was worth it anyway - classes were great, friends with all other mums still (6months later). Feels odd putting dates in the diary so far in advance but it'll go by fast!

Also worthwhile becoming member of NCT in my opinion - if only for the 15 mins shopping at their fantastic nearly new sales before the rest of the public are let in!

Have fun & all the best with your pregnancy.

I'm 13 weeks and have already booked - would just have hated to not get a place because I'd left it too late

I tried booking not long before 20 weeks and the courses that were most convenient for me were booked up already. I'd do it ASAP...

I was advised to book ahead (due in Oct) so booked up for Aug at around 11 / 12 weeks.

Ok! This has convinced me to get organised... will sign up now!

:o tigress

All booked! I didn't get an option of just paying a small deposit, but I've been able to pay in 2 instalments for no extra charge, so about £90 a month for 2 months.

Thanks all :o
