The earliest I've heard people feel movements is 14 weeks but that is with 2nd+ pregnancies.

I think I felt dd's movements at 18+ weeks. I'm 13 weeks atm and have felt nothing but I'm expecting it for a while yet.

i felt dd at 16 weeks. however i don't think it'll be baby movements i've had the same sort of feeling when i've not been pg and been scared that maybe i am and i just don't know it and wasted money on tests. it is very very similiar but i don't know what it is. doesn't the baby start making it's first movements at about 9 weeks but it is said that these definetley can't be felt yet. when is your dating scan? perhaps you are further on then you thought (that'd be a nice suprise for you).

SleepyJess · 06/02/2006 17:26

DS1 - 20 weeks
DD - 16 weeks
DS2 - 17 weeks

I felt movements at 15 weeks but I had been pregnant before which I think affects it. Maybe you are a bit further along than you think Carly? Exciting for you!

CarlyP · 07/02/2006 09:05

MAYBE! That would be nice!

i felt my first move at 15 weeks and no one in the hospital seemed surprised. i wasn't going to say anything in case they thought i was mad but the doctor actually asked!

am pregnant with number two and can feel plenty of movement. am quite early but not sure of exact dates as i was still breastfeeding firstborn when i got pregnant and hadn't had a period yet (what are the odds!). think i'm around 13-15 weeks though
