seems to have bypassed me. And is replaced by an eating cake, watching TV and reading Closer instinct.

Oh well.

Imho creating a dent on the sofa which is exclusively yours, conducting 'research' by watching tele and reading Daily Mail gossip pages online ahem, baby manuals and all the classics that you never got round to, whilst conducting rigorous cake and biscuit testing are all perfectly good nesting activities :)

Snap! mine's has been usurped by sleeping during the day, eating cereal and watchin crap telly. Blush

The Killing boxset here I come. DFinish work this week, then sofa for me, DD permitting.

Trying to move house before this baby arrives (in 4 weeks sellers mucking us around Grrr) so no point tidying up old place.

I am so glad I'm not the only one. No nesting here, pleanty of sitting and sleeping and feeling guilty for not nesting. xx

Garliccheesechips · 03/04/2012 17:49

The guilty thing has also washed over me....

Oh God I'm a sociopath.

No nesting here either!
Last week we paid a cleaner to come in for a few hours and do some nesting for me while I sat on my arse. I outsourced the nesting to the professionals! I don't feel in the first bit guilty either. The baby needs me to eat more flapjacks.

Pootle78 · 03/04/2012 18:47

Like kitandkat I delegated my nesting to mil, play to your strengths and if that just happens to be cake eating then so be it!!!

Yorky · 03/04/2012 19:05

This is my 4th pg and most days I struggle to get the motivation together to pick up toys after 3DC, baby will be sleeping in our room then moving into 'the dormitory' as its starting to feel like! when older so no nursery to pretty up.

Interesting you need to eat more flapjack Katandkit - oats are good for milk production so important for baby prearation!

Nesting nearly killed me this week. I decided to redecorate the DDs room. I don't know why. It was totally impulsive from going in at 7 and thinking it could do with a brighter feel I was in home base by 10 and have been painting for 3 days. Totally shattered. Baby due in 2 weeks and and now in the bath wondering what the hell I was thinking. DH home tomorrow and I have a load of furniture for him to move... Blush

AdornMeWithSparkle · 03/04/2012 19:35

Nesting also passed me by completely. Twice.

Belchica · 03/04/2012 19:48

Nesting has passed me by, although it's maybe too early days yet. However, DP is putting me to shame and has, out of nowhere, taken up baking! Vicky sponges, coffee and walnut....he's obsessed!

EggsMichelle · 03/04/2012 20:03

I've only know I am pregnant for 24hrs and have already devised the nest building action plan... and so far actioned this by watching Hollyoaks and feeding myself curry!
