Just caught sight of my chins in reflection of laptop. Body wise, I don't feel that I've put on that much weight, I mean, over and above natural pregnancy weight. Haven't weighed myself though. Don't really want to know now. Figure I can make a real effort to shift excess weight once baby has arrived. However the sight of my balloon face has shocked me slightly. Looks like I'm wearing a false chin\chins. Due near end of this month, maybe it's just puffiness...... In denial, much? :(

The first thing my neighbour said to me when I told her I was pregnant was "yes you can see as your face has got really fat".
Cheeky bitch!
Bit of fake tan and clever bronzer makes the wide white cheeks and multiple chins not look so bad but I feel your pain Wink

Someone at work said to me on the first day that I wore a tight-ish top and you could see my bump, "Yeh, you don't really look pregnant, you just look fat" Shock. Gee, thanks. Now I feel so body confident and "blooming". Honestly, how could she ever have thought that could be taken in a good way? Sigh.

I just said the same to my friend that all of a sudden my face just got really fat !!

"Oooh you've put it all on in your face".

5yrs ago and I still twitch thinking about it.

Well today at work I've been told that I have 'filled out in my face' and a couple of colleagues are convinced I'm having twins, when I asked why the reply was 'because you've already got a bit of a tummy'!!! Charming. I'm only 12 weeks and still fitting in my size 12's (with the top button undone). What makes me smile is that one of the women is fairly hefty herself and easily eats 3 donuts in one sitting on a regular basis. I appreciate I will put on weight but I'm not prepared for people to comment on it just because I'm pregnant. People wouldn't say to a non pregnant women 'Cor you've stacked it on'!! Grrrrr

Hmmmm fancy a biscuit......Smile

My female friend said to me the other day all your weight is in your face,Then my male friend said to me you have lost weight.I get regular comments like ohh I thought you would be bigger from same male friend and sister but my sister inlaw goes on about how Huge I am.I dont think these people really think about the huge/big face comments.

The other week I praticaly had a mental breakdown because my bathroom towel wouldnt go around me anymore,I liked to keep my bathroom sheets on the rack for show, now I have to use them,I will say keeping them for show has helped them keep so so soft.

I've developed a double chin, but no one has commented on it yet...

One of my neighbours said "every time I see you, you've got bigger!" REALLY? I'm hardly going to get smaller am I?
