That's about it really. Second pregnancy and have had acne from the start of the pregnancy till now (about mid-way through). Anyone else got this (mainly around chin and mouth) and anyone got any tips to get shot of it? I'm getting a bit sick of it now!!

Do you know, I was just thinking of posting a similar thread. I'm 13w and my skin's been awful this time around (DC2). Just can't seem to get rid of my spots, mainly round my jawline and cheeks. With DD it was worst from around 30w, had really dry spotty skin at the sides of my mouth, and nothing seemed to help. Moisturising made the spots worse, cleansing too much made it drier.

No advice, sorry, although it cleared up almost immediately once I gave birth. That's not much use when you've got 20w to go, is it? Grin

I have acne all round my face, bar my forehead, since 10 wks (only near 16 now :( ) I've been using sudacrem, trying not to scrub my face but splash it and using a gentle soap free bar to clean make-up off. I like to think it's taken some of the redness out of the spots but I could just be imagining it.

With ds I broke out in a strange rash all over my chin and it started disappearing literally hours after giving birth so if all else fails I know the likelihood is the acne will go too. September is a long time away.

Me too and I'm just hitting the 6 week mark. I have had acne every month at the start of my period for a few months and so far has stayed since the start of my last period 6 weeks ago.. it's not fair.. I want to be a yummy mummy!

I'm in the same boat. Its the worst skin I've ever had, and I've got 30 weeks to go :( I've just switched to Liz Earle cleanse and polish, and REN's clearcalm night serum to see if that helps. I'll let you know if so.

Hi ladies, I'm not pg but thought I'd share! I've suffered with acne on and off since I was about 24 so six years in total, seemed nothing would work tried various creams from the doc which would clear it up for a while but always came back an tried evvvvverything over the counter and face washes etc! I'd suffer from painful red lumps under the skin and badly clogged pores (god I sound attractive!) on my chin an cheeks.

Anyway about 2 months ago I started using pure a Bentonite Clay face mask every day you can order it very cheap in eBay and last forever item.mobileweb.ebay.co.uk/viewitem?itemId=250967005307

I've see such a massive improvement it literally sucks all the crap out of your pores, I've also been using the body shop vitamin e cleanser toner and intense moisture cream and the difference in my skin is amazing x

check you dont have rosacea, as usual acne treatments make it lots worse. I have it, its a bitch, but its controllable if you learn about it. (defiitely worse in pregnancy than at other times)
