Hi ladies

A friend of mine has very kindly lent me her doppler - she's also given me the leftover gel from her pregnancy altho she has pointed out that it went out of date in January. Do you think i'd still be ok to use it? It doesn't seem like something that would be really bad if it wasn't in date, but obv don't want to take any unnecessary risks - i can just order some more of the internet but i'm impatient and want to try the doppler NOW!!!

Thoughts? Thanks in advance!
K

I've no medical experience but I can't see why not, it's not like you're ingesting it??

I'm sure it would be fine but obviously you'd never hear that from any manufacturer because the reason they put dates on these things is to cover themselves. So you would be using it "at your own risk", if there is any "risk" at all.

Why would there even need to be a date on it? As popcorn says you aren't eating it so don't worry. I ran out of ultrasound gel and went on to using cream of cocoa butter lotion instead.

Bless you! Yes, you can.
