Hi,

I'm 14 weeks pregnant and have been feeling fine but today I was in the queue at Asda and felt like I was about to pass out, was a horrible feeling. Managed to get out into the fresh air before I keeled over but it has left me feeling nervy about this happening when I'm out on my own which is often as DH works away.

Have any of you experienced similar? Was is a one off?

Any advice?

Thanks xxxx

Are you anaemic?

Either way you should definitely talk to your midwife!!!

I found myself feeling faint twice whilst waiting for a train, pretty sure it was because it was first thing in the morning and hadn't eaten yet

I found having a slice of toast before leaving really helped.
Think it was due to low blood sugar
I try and carry a small bottle of water and some biscuits or something with me

Both times it happened to me I was on my own- dont worry too much- quite often if you are in public people will always try and help x

Hope you're ok x

The weird thing was that like you, when I felt faint, it was whilst I was stood still rather than when I was walking around. No idea why!

You could be anaemic, or it could be low blood pressure - I'd call the midwife if you've not had your iron levels tested recently?
