1st pregnancy with my DD I had the worst morning sickness, but I bloomed beautifully with glowing skin, shiny hair, and the only weight I pit on was bump lol! This ones whole different atory! No morning sickness at all, spots all over my face and neck! I hav never had spots on my neck by the way :-S and I have put weight on everywhere! This has got to be only the works of a little boy right? Anyone been through anything.simular? :-)

I had the opposite! Looked crap and spotty with DD, gorgeous and glowy with DS!

Duckypoohs · 02/04/2012 00:41

I was sick and had a permanent booming headache with dd, was so not fun for the first 16 weeks. Nada zilch with the following 2 boys, no idea on the blooming front though.

I wouldn't count any chickens though, my sister had hyperemesis with her boy, maybe the sickness is more a first pg thing than a girl/boy thing (although I do realise that it's different for everyone).

Interesting!! :-).this pregnancy is sooo different! Hoping for a boy this time ;-) we'll see hey! The whole old wives tale thing is quite exciting

Was glowing with dd1 & dd2 this pregnancy like u my skin is dry and spotty also spots on back of neck (I don't normally get them) also sickness was no way near as bad as 2dd and I'm having a boy :)

GirlWithTheMouseyHair · 02/04/2012 04:13

More sick with dd and put in more weight. Ds was very spotty but hair was better and I was all bump

Kayzr · 02/04/2012 04:32

With both boys I had no sickness, no spots, great hair and bloomed.
With this pregnancy I've been really sick, loads of spots, terrible hair and just felt terrible. Scans say its a girl.

FoofFighter · 02/04/2012 07:56

Each pregnancy tends to be different anyway so I wouldn't hold too much into it!

i've had one of each and pg with #3 and this is a different pregnancy to both other times (that were different to each other!) and as there's no third gender....!

wishiwasonholiday · 02/04/2012 07:57

My pregnancies were totally different and I have 2 ds'.

BikeRunSki · 02/04/2012 08:00

I was sick and horrible in both pg. Both very imilar in all ways (all horrible) and I have a boy and a girl. I was convinced I was having a second boy because of the similarity. NHS scan said boy..... DD is now 5 months old!

Happenstance · 02/04/2012 08:09

Well Sick as a dog with pregnancy 1 had a DD, this pregnancy i have glowed, didn't even realise till i was nearly 8 weeks gone, Tiny bump feel all refreshed 40 weeks today, with DD2

OTTMummA · 02/04/2012 08:20

with ds i my hair was the envy of all my friends, i definatley had that glow, no sickness, no heartburn, didn't get a bump until gone 25 weeks, slept like a log, no spots, perfect skin, however,,,,

This time, (24weeks) boobs hurt from moment of conception, accompanied with delightfully prominent blue viens over chest, constant nausea for first trimester, hair lank and greasy, spots all over back, oily nose and chin, but dry flaky itchy skin everywhere else Hmm i live on gaviscon and tums at the moment and sometimes just randomly sick up in my mouth, really awful sleepless nights with 3 hourly trips to the toilet.
Both scans have said we are having a girl this time round, so yes completely different pregnancies.

LOL Unexpected Upon further questioning, the NHS sonographer said that she wasn't too sure, so we had a private scan too.
