When can you expect regular movements from baby?

As above really. I'm 17 +4 and have been feeling fluttering movements for a couple of weeks now. Not really felt anything today, but wouldn't say baby has a pattern of movements yet for me to know whether it is anything to worry about and given that it's quite early for movement, guess baby could just have moved into a diff position.

I suppose the question is whether anyone had periods of not feeling baby for a while after they first started feeling movements before baby was big enough to be felt all the time iykwim.

I'm 18+4 and I've been feeling movements for a few weeks, the last few days they've been proper thumps! She's generally more active in the evening but I can go hours without feeling anything which does worry me, but my placenta is anterior so she probably goes and 'hides' behind it. Do you know where yours is? I seem to remember only feeling dd infrequently until after 20 weeks and she was a right wriggler by the end!

Baby must have realised I was getting a bit worried, it's having a wriggle now, phew!
Seems to have moved tho as previously baby very low, and movements now quite a bit higher.
