Differing pregnancies?

I am 6+3 on baby number 4. This was very much unplanned and although I am happy my husband is going to take a while to get used to the idea. He wanted me to have a termination but I really didn't think I could go through with it. He is a good man and we have a strong relationship so I think we will get through it. I am just worried in case it is twins which would tip him over the edge I think. I have no basis to think this except that so far this pregnancy has been different than the others. I feel really sick, all the time. I feel like there are only certain things I can eat otherwise I would be sick and I can only drink small amounts at a time. I have already got hideous indigestion. I had indigestion badly with my daughter and more sick with her than the boys but I don't ever remember feeling this bad.
Has anyone else had completely different pregnancies? Please share to help put my mind at rest x

congratulations.
It may just be that you are more tired due to running around after your other little ones so this pregnancy is affecting you more.

Meant to say I am 5 weeks with my second and I am feeling sick but didn't feel sick until 9 weeks with my first. and I am running around getting a lot less rest than before.

I'm pregnant with my 2nd, only 6+4 but already I feel horrendous. I had a touch of nausea with my DD, from maybe 8wks, & went off tea until about 14wks, and got really tired but NOTHING compared to this.

I started feeling dizzy & faint from about 9dpo and then the nausea kicked in about a week after that. I haven't actually been sick yet but only through devouring MEAT or other savoury food whenever I can. I am exhausted, despite only working 3 days a week, compared to 5 before, and slept for over an hour this afternoon whilst DD napped.

My DH keeps worrying that its twins but friends & family have told me that felt much, much worse with their second pregnancies, so I'm hoping its that.

Good luck.

I am pregnant with twins - 8 weeks 2 days. I am very tired and try to factor in at lease 2 hours sleep every day (possible since DD is at school). I also get hungry every 2 hours - if I leave it too long between snacks I start to feel queasy, but otherwise I'm OK, if not particularly enthusiastic about food. My boobs are less sore this time round, I think. I'm not convinced that there is a correlation between sickness / other symptoms and twins.

I'm on number four too and I think I can safely say each pregnancy has been very different. Sickness lasted different number of weeks, had high blood pressure with DD but with none of the boys, this time I've been having migraines and dizzy spells. This is new to me.

Congratulations on your pregnancy, don't panic about twins, they are rare but if you are having them your DH will get used to the idea, I'm sure.

Thank you for your experiences. It does make me feel better knowing that others have different experiences x
