can thrush cause bleeding.

Hello, looking for some advise.
I'm currently 13 wk 3 days pregnant and feel like I have thrush, this morning I have had some bleeding just when I wipe, could this be caused by thrush?
Really starting to panic it could be something more.

Yes, thrush can cause bleeding. I had a similar experience to you at 12 weeks. I would recommend calling the maternity unit at your hospital just to make sure.

I went in and they did some swabs but confirmed that my cervix was definitely closed. Its worthwhile just to put your mind at ease.

Thanks for you response, I spoke to my midwife and she said canesten is fine to use so got some of that.
Still anxious about the bleeding but seems a bit lighter and more of a bloody discharge now.
Just seems to be one thing after another, getting of down a bit now. X
