Increased fluid?

Went for a scan yesterday and twin 2 has increased fluid (11.5 cm). I couldnt sleep last night because of worry. I know there is a good chance that there will be nothing at all wrong but the possible causes are quite concerning.

The hospital are carrying out every check and test possible over the next week and I'll be in for at least fortnightly growth scans from now on.

Has anyone else experienced this and what was the outcome?

I'm 32wks BTW.

hi sorry no experience myself, but carrying mcda twins so no only to well the risk of problems, is it massively? different to twin1? it could just be a measurement error, have there been any signs of difference before? 32 weeks is fantastic for twins so try not to worry too much, there is a twin thread over on ante-natal why not come over and join us for some hand holding, what type of twins are you having, have they said when they would want to deliver you? sending you big hugs and lots of positive vibes :)

They did pick up an increase in my last scan but it was only very slightly over the maximum ideal level (by a couple of mm), however it's increased further now.

We're having non ID twins. They're hoping to wait another couple of weeks before deciding on delivery method but as one is breach and the other transverse, a c-section is looking likely!
