35 week midwife ap?

Hiya I have my 35 week midwife appointment this afternoon, just wondered if I should be expecting anything different from the usual, blood pressure, urine, bump measuring 3 1/2 minute session I usually have?

Wondering if internal examinations start to happen now - would like to mentally prepare for the next hour if so

Thanks

I've never had any.
Two pregnancies.

no, it's just a normal appt.

internals will only ever happen with your permission, and they don't even start asking until term.

just had my 37 week apt and nothing like that, just the usual fodder

No internal - just the usual checks.

You most likely won't have any internals until you are in labour, unless you opt for a sweep at some point. Even when you are in labour the MW/Doc cannot perform an internal with out your consent.

The MW today might discuss your birth plan - have a look at the appt list which should be in the front of your handheld notes that will tell you what to expect.

Just the usual, although I had bloods taken which I think is routine if you're rhesus -ve.

Thanks all that's a relief Grin
