Unbelievably sore breasts yesterday, today nothing?

I'm 8 weeks on Friday.

Since practically the moment the pee hit the stick I've had monumentally painful sore boobs, to the point that even the pressure of the duvet and clothes on them was too much, they were also full and heavy.

Today, nothing. Just had a shower and been poking prodding, winging them this way and that, and nothing.

Should I be worried or is it quite normal for it to suddenly stop hurting?

Afraid I can't offer much else other than sympathy at the moment as I'm in exactly the same position at 10 weeks. I do have a private scan booked tomorrow though so will let you know!
All I can say (don't want to worry you) is that I lost all my symptoms at 8 weeks last year and had an mmc at 12 week scan so I am worried as hell this time round. However after extensive googling (!) there are lots of people out there whose symptoms have all disappeared and there was no problems at all.
Hopefully someone who's been through all this before and been alright will be along in a minute.

Hi guys
I am 12 weeks tomorrow and I have sore boob days where I cant even have the duvet or anything near them, then the next day nothing. The noticed them after 6 weeks and they are on and off. I asked my midwife and she said it is normal for them to hurt some days and not others so no need to worry xxx

I'm 18 weeks and I had the EXACT same thing at around 8 weeks ALL my symptoms vanished! So, like you, expected the worst but at 12 week scan there was a very wriggly baby :) :)

Think it's quite common in early stages for symptoms to wax and wane (spent hours googling and reading very old MN threads)
Hope this makes you feel a little better but these worries don't ever vanish (in my case anyway) so try not to get too panicky about it!

Is it REALLY normal to go from having sore boobs to nothing??? I'm 5 weeks ish today. Up until yesterday, I had noticed that my boobs were a little fuller, and a wee bit tender (more so in the evening than the morning), and nipples were definitely getting towards sore when they were touched. The only other symptom I had was cramping. Today, my boobs and nipples feel completely normal, like they do after my period - you could say the "deflated"! I have pretty much resigned myself to miscarriage, but still get little bit of hope when I prod to the point of inflicting pain on myself. This seems like a pretty big "wane" to be normal. Anyone had proper boob deflation at 5 weeks and been OK?
