Everything I read says I should have sore boobs and be feeling nauseous by now- but no! I am peeing a lot in the night and I'm pretty bloated. Not too far on I know but I have a DS but had 2 mmc before him when my symptoms went away so I knew something was wrong. Booked in for a scan in 3 weeks but just can't get excited. That's nearly the worst thing about mc- it takes all the fun and joy out of pregnancy. For me anyway. Plus, all I seem to be hearing about is friends' mcs these days. I want to be hopeful but it's hard.

Hey
I have had the same as you. I took the test at 6 weeks and had no clue i was even pregnant. I had a scan as I am older (43) and they said I was 6 weeks 3 days. I am having hourly trips to the loo at night. I have had no sickness or nauseous either which I am really glad about. Not keen on hanging my head over the loo every day . As soon as I got to week 8 boobs were so tender and started to get period like pains but all is good. I had a midwife appointment and all good there. I do have max bloat out especailly as I have found out eating carbs makes it worse. I will be 12 weeks this Thursday and have had no issues and compared to some women I think I am very lucky. Scan on the 5th April which is making me nervous as this is my first . My womb is full of dust and cobwebs just hope baby likes it in there. !!!
So keep all positive thoughts, its hard I know especially as the night demons creep into your head and take root.

Hi chickling. Try not to worry. I have had few symptoms, too - a bit of weight gain (which could easily be the mcdonalds Blush ) and indigestion (mcdonalds?), and that's it. But I had my 12w scan this morning and all was well.

littleredmonkey · 27/03/2012 14:20

Hey chickling
I know what you mean about the mcdonalds, but a big mac and chips does make ya feel a bit better .
Add a mcflurry and happy days

littleredmonkey · 27/03/2012 14:24

sorry mcpopcornmousenfries about the Big mac

Hi Chickling, if it reassures you any I have had very few symptoms, am now 28 weeks and all is ok so far!

I had tiredness that kicked in at about 10 weeks and didn't really go til after my 21 week scan & slightly sore boobs in the first trimester but that came and went. I was really worried and it did make the first trimester pretty stressful tbh, but I think symptoms just vary massively between women and between pregnancies from what others have said (u can only speak for this one as its my first!) Hope all goes well with you!

emblosion · 27/03/2012 15:20

I can only speak for this time..... (sorry, stupid phone!)

I had very few symptoms, so much so that by the day of my scan at 11 weeks I'd convinced myself there would be nothing there and I'd imagined the whole thing! I maybe felt a little sick sometimes, a bit more hungry, but nothing I couldn't attribute to something else. No tiredness, no soreness, no aversion to smells, none of the symptoms that I was supposed to be having. But when we got to the scan, there was a little baby wriggling away! Ironically I actually felt more sick after 12 weeks than before - between 12 and 14 weeks I felt sick quite often. I'm 15 weeks now and it seems to have settled down though.

Hi Chickling, totally get you about mc worries - had one before and now just found out that I'm pregnant again, only about 5 weeks.

but symptoms vary wildly, a woman may have different symptoms between two pregnancies even - my mum had a surprise 6 years ago, she didn't know she was pregnant till she was 20 weeks gone! literally nothing showed.
Bless her, she thought it was menopause that stopped her period.

So - please try not to worry :) I'll try the same, cross everything you possibly can... :)

FoofFighter · 27/03/2012 19:46

Hello chickling, congratulations :)

I'm 7+5days and have had few symptoms too, had the sore boobs but that's wearing off now, no sickness, just some smell aversions and bloating and that's about it really,

Am living by the mantra "today I am pregnant and I am going to enjoy it"

Thanks for starting this thread op.

Some reassuring words on here. I am too pg with third (hopefully) also had 2 mc.
Ds1 had sickness but it was manageable. Ds2 I thought I was dying! Exhaustion beyond belief, throwing up a few times a day, really sensitive to smells, emotions all over the place, I even lost over half a stone by 12 weeks!

Ds2 is 8 months old now and I'm almost 9 weeks pg. exhaustion around week 5, but just mild sickness this time and not even every day. You can't win can you? You feel sick and you want it to go away. You don't feel sick and you worry!

Typical of us mums!

Good luck and wishing you all the best.
