Possible TMI here....smelly poo question!!!

I have a bit of an embarrassing question! I've noticed since quite early on (28 wks now) that my poo has had a very strange smell...kind of cheesy. I've had piles but fortunately not too badly which I've been treating with creams, perhaps this could be something to do with it? Does anyone else out there know what this could be or am I a freak of nature?! Got my midwife appt on Thursday so can check then but wondered if anyone had an idea....?

I imagine it's because transit time in the gut is longer in pregnancy so it's held in there longer and becomes more pungent.

Haha think its normal! I stink to! At 35+6 weeks partner getting a bit fed up of it! Especially as I'm going more often and started the 'emptying' stage! Trumps stink to!! Finally getting my partner back for all the times he's stunk out the whole house!

Mine stinks too! Doesn't usually defo a pregnancy thing.

smelt like the drains for ages - much sweeter now - just started 3rd tri and it is safe to go in after me!

Ha ha! Ladies you make me laugh! Glad it's not just me creating a pungent stink, it seems to be yet ANOTHER joy of pregnancy! Stinky farty earth mama, ha ha!
