Put on 'light activity' - what does this mean?

Hi,

I was put on light activity by doc due to chest infection / hard coughing and subsequent spotting. She mentioned the activity thing in passing when I asked about work - we were on phone at time as she had been arranging a scan. So stupidly didn't ask what this meant. Anyone know???

No lifting, minimal bending and stretching.

What environment do you work in? Is it office based?

Thanks for reply. I'm a teacher - I have to stay off for next few days min to let antibiotics kick in. Can I walk / sit / stand / lie as normal?

That sounds fine- tbh, just do as much as you feel comfortable doing. Don't push yourself that extra you might normally.
