That is in response to a colleague earlier. But in my head I fumed "and not that its your business but actually mid wife said I look about right for 32 weeks".

On Saturday in a cafe a random old women said I look big for 32 weeks. What would you know?!!

Ggrrrrrrrrrrr! RANT OVER AND BREATHE!

OP posts:
Are your children’s vaccines up to date?

I'm only 18 weeks and have had the 'Are you sure it isn't twins, they can hide behind each other you know!' comment on a daily basis for at least 2 weeks!

God know what I'll get at 36 weeks. The irony is despite my little bump, I actually weigh significantly less than I did when got BFP!

Mostly I love talking to strangers about my pregnancy BUT the size comments can be sooo rude. Suddenly your body is public property when you're pregnant.

Last time at 38 weeks a woman walking past in the street said "Oh my god you are huge" I turned around and shouted "and you are very rude". Mind you I was pretty big with #1 and #2. Not sure what size I'll get to this time but am already practising witty retorts in my head.

My theory is that most people rarely see a heavily pregnant woman and don't realise what normal is. Celebrities are hardly ever seen in public after about 7 months. In films and on TV women supposedly due to give birth any minute never have prosthetic bumps bigger than about 6 months.

I look huge when I am pregnant. I have a bit of a tummy anyway, and I am short, and have big babies (big tall DH), and this time I really do feel self consciously humungous.

I am 18 weeks and would say I look about 30 weeks. Shock

According to MW all is fine. And no, I am not having twins! Wink

I get asked this all the time. My bump is all baby and I have always been really tiny and still am except this huge bump. My pregnancy started out a twin pregnancy although only one baby ever appeared visible. I have told some people this whom I thought were particularly rude hoping it might hinder them from being so confrontational to others.
