Hiya. Here I go with another symptom sharing plea.
on the bus to hypochondria perhaps?
I've had reasonably painful period cramps on Friday last and today.
Theyve come on after I've (perhaps) slightly overdone things (carrying a too heavy bag, being a bit too gung ho at work) and have lasted for about 15 mins. Sitting has helped and they've stopped ok. No other symptoms, though I feel a tightness still and it happened a few hours ago.

Is this Braxton Hicks - everything on the internet suggests that BH are more like contractions and come in waves

Or could just be my body screaming at me to take it easier...?

Has anyone had something similar?

I had quite a lot of pains around that time with my last pregnancy (healthy ds aged 3 years). It could well be ligament pain, and possibly like you said your body telling you to sit down and have a rest! I seem to remember BH being a bit shorter-lived than that but I did go through a week around that time of getting them all the time. My midwife told me to rest, which I did, and they settled. ds was born at 39 weeks and I didn't have any other problems. One thing - pains can be a sign of a water infection, even if you don't have any urinary symptoms and the pains are intermittent. If they don't settle then take a urine sample to you gp or midwife to be tested, prob a good idea. Hope it settles for you soon :)
