Okay Dh & I have been batting this back and forth now for the last couple of weeks and haven't come to any conclusion, so now seeking outside opinions.

First baby (sadly not the first pregnancy) Sad and given an EDD from my dates of 28.9, from the scan 20.9. We have a holiday booked with Forest Holidays in Cornwall for a week from 7.9 and really can't decide whether to go ahead or cancel.

It was booked before we found out and was originally intended as a cycling/walking holiday. Obviously wouldn't be that now but would I be up to sight seeing and walking about 3 weeks before due date?

My boss says it's probably best to cancel as it's my first and she thinks I won't want to be too far from hospital but I really am dithering.

So what's the general concensus??

could you bring the holiday forward?
If not I would go, and use it as an excuse to relax and spend the time just the 2 of you before baby comes along. As you said no cycling ets as by then i'm sure you would be happy sitting still with a good book (and near a ladies for your bladder) but go and enjoy. If you do start labour early there is hospitals in Cornwall.

At that stage of pregnancy you will want to sit down and relax and pee a lot. I would move forward to 2nd trimester or claim back on insurance. What if baby is early or you develop SPD or high BP? It may be fine but similarly it may not. No one can tell so I would err on the side of caution.
