Daughter has 'slapped cheek'... should I cancel my appointment with consultant tomorrow?

I am consultant led care because of high BMI, my daughter has slapped cheek virus. Now I am fairly sure that I don't have it, also been informed it isn't dangerous outside the first trimester... so not as worried about myself.

However, I have an appointment tomorrow morning for a scan etc... I am wondering whether I should cancel? If I have got it, I could be putting other pregnant women in danger?

Argh >.

Can you not rearrange your appointment?
My friend's dd had it once and my pg friend spent the day with her. There was a lot of panic when they found out what she had.

sorry I meant rearrange!

Yes, I panicked when I read the NHS direct website! The thought I could pass it on and cause any issues with someone else's pregnancy makes me think I just shouldn't go...

I don't think you should risk it, just in case.

You will probably get another appointment pretty quick anyway.

Hope your DD is better soon :)

Thank you :) she always copes very well when she is ill, somehow manages to be very chirpy lol. I wish I could manage to be like that! :)
