Chest Pain?

I'm 34+5 and had a bout of severe chest pain about 30 mins ago.

It really bloody hurt, and was on the right hand side of my chest under my boob. A sharp stabbing pain when I breathed in.

Didn't feel muscular, although I had just bent down. It wasn't heartburn, nor trapped wind...am familiar with both.

Lasted about 3 mins and I was very close to calling 999 (due to severity of the pain and being home with DD 2.7 by myself) when it stopped.

I feel fine now. Baby is moving around. No other health concerns.

Anyone shed any light on what it might be? I did try and ring my MW but there was no answer.

Did it comes in waves/ stabby like spasms? I should say from the outset I haven't a clue what it is, but I had the same thing the other day - the first time it happened it was slightly under left boob and i was CONVINCED i was having a heart attack! I was sobbing with the shock of the pain. DP had phone in hand to dial 999 when it stopped after a couple of mins. Then the next day the same thing happened on the right side, under right boob and especially when breathed in, as you describe, reassuring me it was not a heart attack (always good to know!) but still haven't a clue what it is. DP googled after the first one and said there was stuff about baby stamping on particular nerves being able to cause sharp pains of that type.

No idea but look forward to hearing more clued-up responses...

Pain under your right ribs can be a sign of preeclampsia, you should call the labour ward to ask for advice. It could have a completely innocent cause but better safe than sorry

Only just seen this.... If you're quite big it could be something as simple as one rib tucking under another when you bent down. Simple but hurts like hell!
