Baby movements causing dodgy tummy?

Is this possible? All afternoon and evening baby has been really wriggly and big movements, not just little kicks. And I've been feeling like a have a really dodgy tummy - like you feel when you have a tummy bug - gripey pains and feeling of needing to rush to the loo. In the past hour movements have stopped and now feeling much better. I'm 29+3.

funny i just sat in the bath thinking the same thing. flipping around like a lunatic tonight and it feels like it is making me need a poo all the time. i did have cauli cheese last night (sorry about this) and it does have an 'effect' on my, so am putting mine down to a) baby moving around very close to my intestines and b) extreme wind! hope you feel better soon. I am just coming up to 28 weeks so similar.

I'm 33wks with dc2 and he's a right wriggler, much more so than Ds was and I've had an intermittent dodgy stomach from about 15wks (when I first started feeling him move) so I think there may well be a correlation (on my highly scientific study Grin)
