When did you get Braxton Hicks?

I have started having BH today and I'm only 15 weeks pregnant. Please reassure me that's okay and normal? I can't remember when I started with them with DD but it must have been 35 weeks or so and I've not had them in any of my other pregnancies.

When did you have them? And did anything you do cause them?

I had BH from 20 weeks.

I found towards the end that doing "too much" set them off, so did a bit more sitting-down teaching (as opposed to the more active style I normally have).

Check with your MW though.

In my first pregnancy I had BH from around 18 weeks (though had no idea what they were until sometime later!) This time they started at 14 weeks. My MW was unbothered, though it would be a good idea to check with yours too.

I found that if I didn't keep my fluid levels topped up, they got worse.

tightenings from about 20 weeks, more painfull tightenings from about 30.
mw recommended to take a magnesium supplement which also helped with the leg cramps.

I had them from very early on too, sometimes they could really take my breath away! But my mw was never concerned. Check with yours if you are concerned, but I think they are really quite normal for some women.

I never had a single bh when expecting my ds, which might explain why my latent stage of labour lasted nearly 3 days!
