hey everyone,
im hoping for some advice or just generally to share a moan with others in my situation.im 39 weeks today with 2nd baby.1st labour started with waters breaking, contractions didnt start for a long time after and cant really remember what they were like as labour didnt progress as it should and after 42 hours had an e.section.before waters broke had absolutely no niggles or signs at all leading up to the birth.
this one on the other hand has been completely different!started getting bh's at about 30 weeks.ive had a couple of trips to hospital to be monitored as babys movements slowed and bh's were strong and lasted a couple of days each time.since saturday iv noticed bump has dropped lots and babys been very calm.iv had abit of an upset stomach too and quite alot of backache.today iv had sharp period type cramps in my stomach and back coming and going, can barely straighten up cos babys pushing so far down and am really achey and uncomfortable.......

Yes silly Grin, this is it!

No idea when baby will appear though.

Ah I am in the same shoes (this is my first baby though so even more clueless!)

I saw the midwife this morning and bemoaned her lack of crystal ball.... hopefully our babies will be here soon just so the anticipation is over with!

hi lucyfluff (love the name) :)
my cup cakes been engaged since 32 weeks and been feeling loads of pressure down below.back-to-backs ok aslong as he's head down.my 1st was back-to-back lying on his side!after 42 hours had a section so all these pains and things are good signs i hope.
have you had any signs of anything happening yet??not long for either of us...less than a week til due date :) x
